Upon request I will provide my lyx class and layout file for LyX for students that wish to write their thesis using LyX as a document editor. Here are the directions for installing this class :
1. Place the thesis.cls file in your .lyx directory under your home directory.
2. Place the thesis.layout file in your .lyx/layouts directory.
3. Run lyx and select the tools--->reconfigure option to make lyx find these new files.
4. Then create a new document
5. Go to document --> Settings --> Document Class
6. Set the value here to Thesis (Brown Thesis). |
